My name is Erin, I am 23 years old and I am the owner of Paws & Relax.
I am a qualified dog groomer and also do cat grooming. I hold a level 3 in animal management with an overall grade of Distinction, Distinction, Distinction.
I am also animal first aid & CPR trained and have years of valuable experience.
I’ve always known I wanted to work with animals and so as soon as I left school, I enrolled on an animal management course. Whilst on my course, I had the chance to do work experience at a doggy daycare and grooming Centre. This is where I developed my love for dog grooming and the Dog industry in general.
After a few years of being here, the opportunity arose to work for a company more local to me. I was here for three years, and in this time I gained my grooming qualifications. I absolutely adored working here and gained some amazing relationships throughout my years. I have now decided it’s time for me to take a step out on my own and see what my future has to hold.
I have lived in Glossop my whole life and starting my own business here really does mean a lot to me! Since I was young, I’ve always tried to be a part of the local community, from getting involved in local parades and charity events, holding my own charity events and more.
I will continue to reflect this into my business and have already begun developing charitable relationships. I am working in partnership with Glossop Cat Rescue and offering grooming services free of charge to any cat in need. I am completely honoured to be given this opportunity.

Taking time to understand each individual on a personal level and catering to their needs as well as their owners.
Took my Puggle Arnie to Erin and she was brilliant He can be nervous, but she put him at ease straight away. He came out looking and smelling amazing.

My 3 year old lab went for his first ever groom today with Erin, he is a very nervous dog so I was very reluctant to book him for a groom but I took him and she has done the most amazing job with him. He went in barking and nervous and came out looking and smelling so fresh with a big smile and his tail wagging! Thankyou so much for taking good care of my boy and we will definitely be back for regular grooms

I can't sing Erin's praises enough! My new rescue cat Rowan was struggling to groom himself due to the cone he had to wear following an eye operation. She did an amazing job of bringing him back to his happy, fluffy self. We're lucky to have such a kind, professional groomer in the area!

Erin is absolutely lovely. Alfie my dog is 10- blind and diabetic. The stress of taking him out of the house to get a cut would have been too much for him. Erin visited and he bonded with her straightaway which was fantastic to see. His coat was very thick and the care and attention she gave him was fantastic. Erin had a brilliant way with him and his cut was 10 out of 10.I have absolutely no hesitation recommending her and look forward to his next cut. I never thought id ever say that as usually dread it. Erin has been grooming our dog Pep since he was a puppy. He absolutely loves seeing her and she takes excellent care of him. He always comes home smelling amazing and looking like a dream. We wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend Erin. She's the best!!
